Visitors can take the No 28, 43, 120, 126 bus, and get off at Fangcaodinan stop; or take the No 1 metro line and get off at Yonganli station, then come out from Entrance C and walk northward, it will take you about 10 minutes to get to the crossroad of Dong Daqiao Lu and Guang Hua Lu, then turn west and walk about 200 meters; or take the No 10 metro line and get off at Jintaixinzhao station, then come out from Entrance D and walk westward, it will take you about 20 minutes.
Only official vehicles with agreed parking spaces are authorised to park inside the compound. Vehicles with diplomatic plates may be left under the cameras in the street beside the tennis court but this is at your own risk. The road is under the control of the Beijing traffic authorities and local restrictions apply. Roads around the Kerry Centre are similar. Whilst the local authorities generally take a benign view of British diplomatic vehicles, parking tickets are issued from time to time to any car parked in a No Parking zone. The Embassy does not pay parking fines.
On arrival at the Gatehouse reception all visitors will be asked for photographic ID and will then be issued a visitors pass. They must leave all electronic items (mobile phones and any other electronic and electrical equipment) at the Gatehouse Reception.When visitors leave they must hand in their pass and collect any items left in Reception.
