Welcome to the web pages for the British Consulate-General Chongqing. Our role is to promote UK interests in southwest China, covering Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan and Guizhou. We want to build links between our two peoples in trade and investment, science and technology, the media, environment and other areas. Through our visa services, we facilitate the legitimate movement of people from southwest China to the UK. And our consular team protects and supports British citizens in southwest China. We work closely with colleagues in the British Council who take the lead in developing cultural and educational relations.
