Passport fees

You need to pay the correct fee in the local currency when applying for your passport. All fees are subject to change. No refunds will be issued for unsuccessful or fraudulent passport applications.
Methods of payment
For those applying in Beijing, we accept cash or credit card (RMB only) if you apply in person. If you apply by post, you may chose to send us an authorisation form for credit card payment or a postal order in RMB. For us to return your passport to you by post, you will need to pay us RMB30 as postage. Applications at the office in Shanghai can be made in cash only and will incur an additional 30 RMB charge for postage of the passport from Beijing to Shanghai.

Additional fees
Call out fee
There is a call out fee for issuing a temporary or emergency passport outside of office hours. You will need to add this fee (per hour or part of an hour) to the cost of the passport.
